How long does the company registration process take?

The process of opening a company takes up to 10 business days. The price for opening a new company, including a legal address and assistance with opening a bank account, starts from 25,000 CZK.

What are the timeframes for the legalization of premises?

The legalization of premises can take from 3 to 9 months. Don’t let these timeframes scare you! It’s important to understand that even during the lengthy legalization process, you will still be able to continue your work.

What are the terms and costs of trademark registration?

Trademark registration takes from 3 to 6 months in the absence of objections, a correctly formed application and classification of goods or services. And from 9 to 12 months if objections are received from other TM holders. Starts from 20,000 CZK.

About VAT-registered company transfer and costs

VAT registration transfer takes a certain amount of time and may involve several types of changes to the company’s registration details. It’s important to understand that during the registration transfer process, the following changes often occur:
  • Company name change
  • Change of capital
  • Change of licenses
  • Change of legal address
  • Change in the number of managing directors and founders of the company
Options for VAT registration transfer:
Transfer via a notary.
To make changes through a notary, a service fee of 11,000 CZK must be paid. This option allows for the following changes:
  • Company name
  • Capital
  • Licenses
  • Legal address
  • Number of managing directors and founders of the company
Transfer via the commercial court.
Documents can also be submitted to the commercial court, where minor changes are possible. The cost of this option is 5,000 CZK and allows for the following changes:
  • Number of managing directors and founders of the company (in cases where there is only one person listed in the company)

  • Legal address
The price for a company with VAT starts from 80,000 CZK.
